The stag night or stag do, is what every “husband to be” looks forward to and possibly dreads at the same time. This is because it is mostly down to the best man to organise. This is why they may worry because they have no idea what is involved.
They may say with all their might that they don’t want strippers and such, but it’s your best man’s decision at the end of the day. With that in mind, I thought I would share some more appropriate stag do ideas that every husband to be would enjoy. Just in case you needed some inspiration.

Paintballing
A great idea for a stag do could be to consider paintballing. If you can get a big group together, it can be a lot of fun. There are many locations where you can Paintball so the chances are there will be something local to you. It can be quite a full-on activity so it might be worth thinking about a low-key evening after. A bit of food and a few drinks will work well.
A football match
If you all support the same team then why not head out to a football match as part of the stag do. If it’s an away match, it could be a great opportunity to head out at night to a different city. Even if you don’t support the same team, it might be worth sticking with the groom’s team. It could create some great banter.
Night at the boxing
Heading to the boxing could be a great night and an alternative evening event for a stag do. Especially if it is a big fight night with a high-profile main event. They are mostly held in city centres, and some are abroad so it might be worth seeing what events are on around the time you want to get together.
The darts are always a good night
There’s something about the atmosphere when you go to the darts. There is a lot of lager and shouting involved. It can make for a great night. What is good about it is that you are in one location. You have a bar and some food options. Not only can you soak up the atmosphere and watch but you can also have a chat amongst yourselves as well. It could be a perfect choice.
A night out in the local town
You could just decide to stick with what you know and head out for a good session in your local town. There’s nothing wrong with playing it safe. You know you have a good time, and you know where to go. It could be a win-win situation.
Go away abroad
Finally, if budget isn’t an issue then why not head away for the weekend. You could go somewhere hot and hit the clubbing scene or opt for something different like snowboarding. There are many options online, and if you leave things to the last minute, you could get some great deals.
I hope this gives you a bit of inspiration when it comes to organising a stag do.
